The three new placements are a response to continuing demand across the East of England for residential provision for children exhibiting the most challenging needs. They comprise two new solo bed settings and a second bed within our successful home on the Essex coast.
Joanne Henderson, Managing Director of Children and Family commented, ‘whilst we have seen an increase in provision for children with complex behaviours these are often homes catering for three or more children. We understand the costs of developing a solo placement, Ofsted regulated, home is often seen as commercially unviable but there is a need to accommodate children who cannot be matched with others in a larger setting.’
The three placements will be coming on stream over the summer.
