Our Placements
We are a leading provider of high-quality residential placements for children with complex and challenging needs. We provide bespoke care, either in our own properties or in Local Authority owned premises, for children who are a risk to themselves or others and have suffered multiple placement breakdowns within mainstream residential care or fostering. Based in Ipswich, Children and Family have been working with young people since 2009 and operates throughout the East and South of England.
Our homes are a mix of solo and dual placements offering short to medium term accommodation. We use a trauma-informed approach to care which recognises the impact of trauma on children’s mental, physical, and emotional health. It is child centred and promotes resilience and recovery.
Our Therapeutic Model
Based on the principle that every child needs a “secure base” to thrive, our homes aim to provide support and stability for young people, creating safe and supportive environments where young people can feel secure and develop healthy attachments with others.
